Letters to Alice

Out of the blue, an old friend from the orphanage got in touch. Alice Liddel is slightly older than me so left before I did. By strange co-incidence she has also been head-hunted to renovate an abandoned mansion, so we will be able to compare notes which will make this journey a lot easier. She seems to be a prolific letter writer, so I hope I can keep up!

Anyway, here's my first letter to her.

Dear Alice,

So lovely to hear from you. How very strange that we both got picked from the orphanage to do weird house renovations. Glad your work has been going so well, I'll look out for for you on Sci-fi Network.

Go with your gut regarding men, lovely. If you don't feel safe, then you are not safe. He's handsome enough, but a pretty face isn't everything. I found 2 possible prospects in Windenburg, so I'm sure there are other, better candidates near you.
